I bought a radio from a 09 commander to put on my 07 wrangler and it does not turn on. Are they compatible??

 

Is it a mygig? If it is, it might be a low speed bus mygig. The JK requires a high speed bus mygig. If you want to try and make it work, you could try the coasteltech mygig lockpick adapter, which I think allows a low speed bus radio to work in high speed bus vehicle. The lockpick adapter has lots of other features as well.
