Just ordered a set of rigid d2 LEDs I have a 2012 jk have read they are being installed on stock harness with no problems Dave at northridge told me my jeep will code rebel off road said no install to oem harness help!

 

I have mine wired directly to the oem harness and even with canceler capacitors they will still flicker randomly. I would wire them to a separate switch, but if you want to keep the stock switch use a relay with the stock harness as the trigger.

 

Are you using them as fog light replacements?

 

I use them as off road lights, the stock harness is temporary until I run new wires.

 

I'm using them to replace factory fogs

 

We've seen flickering when installed on the OEM harness/switch. It is completely possible and safe for your JK however. My suggestion is to try it and see if you can tolerate the minor flickering. If not, use the supplied Rigid harness and wire directly to your battery or go to an sPOD.
