Default HID Headlight Issue

Hey Guys, back in September 16' I purchased a 4 door jk wrangler. A week later I installed a HID headlight kit. It was working just fine up until a few days ago. The driver side light started to act up, sometimes it would light up right away and then sometimes I would have to turn my lights on and off several times for it to come back on. I figured it was the bulb so I bought a new one. It wasn't the issue. I bought a new ballast and it still didn't solve the problem. Crazy thing is the OEM bulb works perfectly fine with both low and high beam. I thought it was something silly I did. So I carefully reinstalled the kit and made sure all connections were tight. And yet still the driver side HID kit will not work. Passenger side is fine tho. I'm at a loss for words. Can anyone please help lol ?!? I can't stand the OEM lights. There's no light output at all :( Thanks so much. Have a blessed day !!

I'm not an expert at all. I did mine like 3 years ago. But it could be your ballast. They should be able to be swapped from side to side if I remember correctly. That will be one easy way to check.

Don't freak out just yet lol turn the lights on and wiggle the hid connector to the car and see if it powers on or turns off. The connector or one of the terminals might be loose even if it's a solid connection. I bought a can bus kit when something like that was happening to me from installing a non can bus kit.

Here it is for reference:

I'm hoping that's all it will be. I haven't had a chance to mess around with the lights again. The weather has been crappy last few days. I'm thinking it might be the OEM connector I'm plugging into. I took the ballast and bulb that was working on the passenger side and tried it on driver side. Still no luck. I'll give it a try tomorrow. Suppose to be nice out. Thanks for the reply !
