Hid issues!!!
Hey guys i just installed a set of hids in my 10 jku rubi and at first i had a issue of my driver side headlight not turning on but after a few cycles of my headlight switch it would finally turn on. That only lasted a few days and it started working fine on its own and has been for a while but now and this kinda worries me, when im driving my dash starts to bug out all my dash lights turn on my spedo stops working and my radio turns off! Now iy doesn't always do this its random and seems only to do this at highway speeds most of the time. Some times its only my battery light that comes on but majority of the time its the whole dash that lights up. I have hi/lo beams and fog lights. (fogs don't seem to be a issue) this issue only started happening after the hid install. It also set of a few codes, i have pics of the codes that i am gonna up load so u can see them, has anyone else had this issue and if so what will fix it, i have the headlights hooked up to what i believe is a relay harnesses and then plugged into the passenger factory headlight plug! Any info can help thanks guys!!

i had the same issue with my honda before i sold it, it was the battery. your may be bad battery but my issue was the alternator belt wasnt tight enough so it wouldnt recharge the battery just spining.
Hey guys so i changed the battery and it's still doing the same thing, but i forgot to mention that my engine also stalls for a few seconds while driving so i Googled the symptoms and found out there was are recall for this but it was back in 2007

And also I've read reviews with people haveing the same issues, do u think that even tho its a 2010 it could still need this flash update? Now my jeep completely died today and will not start at all!! Can't go to the dealer till Monday so was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this or has had the same problem with a newer jk?

I had HID's on my 2010 for a while and there was no 'extra' draw (wrangled) to kill the battery. They operate on less voltage than standard lights and have ballasts to jump the voltage to 24k volts.
You say you 'changed' the battery, did you get a new one or swap with someone whose battery was working? There weren't many software flashes for the 2010's, I kept up on them when I bought mine.
