Is this an ok idea to mount my 6" hid on my windsheild brackets?
Has any1 done it?

Myself and Rubicon_fan will mounting HID's to the windshield this month..still have to make up our mind on which brakets to use....Waiting for the 6 inch Offroad HID to show up too...The ballasts are built into the light, making the light fairly deep. We may have to go with something custom.

Are you HID's similar to that? built in ballast?

 

I did it. No issues at all. I put the ballasts under the cowling...
