I don't think that anyone has had a problem with melting the lense. Most have had a problem with the computer not accepting the increase load.

Just get a set of HID's off of ebay it will be plug and play. You simply unplug the stock halogen bulb then plug the harness into the HID ballast then the HID bulb plugs into the harness of the HID ballast. HID's run cooler and are 4x brighter than halogens. No melting of plastic and no computer issues either since HID's are 35watts and the halogens are 55watts. Not to mention HID bulbs do NOT have a filament that can break on rough terrain.

Just search ebay for the bulb# you are looking for and HID kit. (ex. 9145 HID kit, or H3 HID kit)

the computer knows the wattage? Damn thats crazy lol. How much are those kits? Used to be alot of wiring and relays involved with HID that's why I never considered that.

this is probably very simple, but how do you change the stock fog light bulbs? i checked the owner's manual, but it really left a lot to be desired.

Default Nokya's

I installed Nokya's stage 2 bulbs in the fog and so for it has not melted the reflector but it seams like it dried out the lens to the point that they are alle crached up ... still sealed but cracked like a mofo !
