Default Hitch mounted back-up sensor

I have been looking into these hitch mounted wireless backup sensor devices. I have seen 3 brands but i think are essentially the same item.

Any one have any experience with any of these products?

Echomaster Hitchscan

Backup sensors seem like a complete waste to me. If you back into something your tire will bump it first in most cases.

It may be easier to just back in correctly.
