Anyone added it? I just did. I finally came to grips with myself that I DO NOT HAVE A RUBICON, so I mounted a Home link garage door opening system to my Jeep where the disconnect and eLock switches would have been. I have it set for my gate and my garage. And channel three is for my sons car. To arm his car, as he always forgets to lock it up. Click image for larger version

I ordered it through a wholesaler that I use for car audio. Retail is $249. I paid $160. Well. Net was $160. Because they normally do not distribute them, I had to pay a $20 special order fee. I ordered two, one for my Jeep one for my sons car. So called it $160.

Word of caution on a jeep. Do not wire it to constant 12volts. It would then work all the time and that's not good if you park the jeep outside with the top off. I wired it to ignition. So the key has to be on and then it works.

I have the same kit on mine and I'm very pleased. My old 08 I used a Homelink mirror, but my 13 came with map lights and auto dim, so I didn't want to remove it and went this route instead.

Thought about that, but then you have to deal with the wiring harness and stringing it up from the mirror to the overhead panel. And then you can't flip the window forward without allowing a LOT of slack in the wire harness. I don't know. It really was a toss up. But decided to just get the custom mount kit. It also gave me something better/bigger to cover up a hole I had for a crappy little switch I used for about a day on my KCs. Haha. Then I found some really bad ass billet switches that have changeable color lighting that is switch activated.
