hood mount light vs windshield mounts
Ok guys im trying to decide if mounting a 20 to 30' light bar on my hood or some LEDs on either side of my windshield would be best.
So I guess I would like to hear from some guys who have had both or at least been behind the wheel of a jeep with each type. Im wanting to know things as in glare, use able output, spread, wind noise, etc.
Please no recommendations on a 50' bar above the windshield because I cant tolerate the noise plus id be afraid of damaging it with my kayaks

I run a 20" LED bar on my hood and I like it. At first I thought it'd be noisy and in the way but it isn't. I also have a roof rack so having a hood light is easier than getting creative with the rack which mount around the windshield. The light is great for wide open areas and narrow trails alike.

I run mine on the hood and like the pattern I get from them. they are old school KC's I will trade soon for LED's , but they work well on the hood, also dont have to worry about low hanging limbs in the woods.
