hooking fogs to winch fairlead ???

Default hooking fogs to winch fairlead ???

i wanna put lights on my fairlead,it has 2 holes for this? where do you stash the wires? any ideas on this? my windshield mounted lights hook into my high beams,can i do the fogs the same way,or shoulld i do them different ??

I had to drill mine and the metal is hard as hell. An old electric drill works great for this. My wires ran from the lights up under the winch. So you really can't see them. Taping your high beams to run a relay is really no big deal. I tapped the stock fog light harness for mine.

If you realy need your fogs in a foggy situation. You will not want your high beams also!

I've put some thought in to this before. Warn makes wireless lights. I haven't looked into the mechanics of it. Probably a self contained battery. They'd be perfect for this.
If I were you, I would think this over a little more. Unless you have a good supply of Eveready's

Warn's "wireless" lights still have to be hooked up to a 12v power source and ground with a harness. The wireless part is the switch. It's a remote that sends a signal to turn the lights on and off. Sorry about that.
