How to make it Loud?
if you want good sound quality at high volumes then you need good speakers and plenty of power.
if you cannot afford to do everything at once then I would suggest getting a new head unit, an amp and new mids and highs first then puchasing a sub later. you can even put off buying rears speakers for the soundbar for a little while.
For a good set of speakers at a reasonable price I would recommend the focal access series. they are 300 a set but come with a 3 year warranty and sound amazing. This speakers have one numerous awards at car audio shows for sound quality.
as for an amp. if you are on a budget go for a JL J2 series amp they are about half as much as the slash series. Also JL is suppose to be phasing out their G series amps I believe so you might be able to get a good deal on one.
Oh and with head units. If you buy a pioneer make sure that is has 6 pre outs in the back. some of there cheaper decks only have four or even 2. the ones with four have two for the fronts and the other two are switchable, you can make them be for either the rear speakers or the sub but not both. one of the reasons I don't like pioneer

My only word of advice is you most certainly get what you pay for.
If you're on a budget I'd start with a quality 4-channel to power the stock speakers, then add an amp/sub. I did the reverse (amp/sub) and the bass knocks harder than I thought -- enough to drown the speakers.
Upgrading to the kicker soundbar replacements is definitely better than the stock speakers but there are definitely better quality speakers out there. I did the kickers in the soundbar but will definitely find something a little better for the dash.

You can find great used amps on Craigslist. I replaced the factory speakers added two amps and put a box sub in the back that matches the trunk space so it looks like part of the vehicle and not an added sub. I left the stock deck in. It is loud as hell, sounds fucking great, and no one would know by looking at it.
