Default HP Touchpad Installed in Jeep

So I hacked my HP Touchpad and instead of their WebOS operating system I installed CyaongenMod's CM9 Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system on it.

I tether the data connection and GPS from my phone.

That make's for one impressive GPS! I'm still running CM7 on mine, but never really found a reason to install in my JK. How useful is it?

Very useful for long trips.

- Maps/GPS are much better than the MyGig.
- Trapster helps.
- Realtime weather radar.
- Streaming music from Pandora.
- Finding the cheapest gas using "Gas Buddy" is great.
- Email at your fingertips.
- Slingbox for TV and movies (not while driving, but still good when sitting and waiting for someone).
- "Flight Track" for instant flight info (great to use when circling the Airport to pick someone up).

These are just what I have found so far.

I also used a widget creator to make this handy screen to access the most common apps easily.

Intersting....

Unfortunately I have a compnay phone, so teathering is locked out. I do love using Pandora though, it beats paying for Sirius and sounds better too!

Is that a diy mount?

This is the mount.

Twist360 | Bracketron

That ring in the back is hanging on the windshield tie down metal loop. No drilling required. Just unclamped the soft top, put it over the loop, then clamped down the top again.
