Default I Hate the daystar panel...Want to try something else..

I have a daystar switch panel with 3 switches...only unfortunate thing is that when I shift into 1st or 3rd is turns off the right 2. I hate this it's so annoying. What other panels are out there that fit into the same spot? I know of the cooltech one. Does anyone have any experience with that?
Thanks!

You don't have a sig so don't know if you have power windows, if you don't this is what I did.

I like this setup, may do it some day. currently have my switches in the panel to the left of the steering wheel, but they are kinda hard to see.

they look like carlingtech switches (contura 2's i believe)

http://rocker-switches.carlingtech.com/sealed-rocker-switch__19.asp

there is another source for them with your choice of labeling, but i cant think of it, hopefully someone else will recall it for you.

If i ever get everything the way i want it, i'll need to many of them.
  1. winch power.. (future)
  2. winch in. (future)
  3. winch out. (future)
  4. air compressor. (future)
  5. rock lights. (future)
  6. Rear (backup) lights. (future)
  7. Fan kill. (future)
  8. ESP override. (future)
  9. Side lights. (future)
  10. Interior Aux lighting. (future)
  11. driving lights
  12. fog lights.
  13. a-pillar lights.
  14. momentary light switch override. (for those much needed "create your own sun flare" moments. .... not that i would condone such a thing)
i need a lot of switches

Product ID: V1DAF66B-AYC4S-17V
Manufacturer: Carling Technologies
V-Series Contura II sealed rocker switch, Fog Lights

They come in different colors and symbols on them. I bought them from this place.

Very reputable person/business. He refunded $1.25 when I was charged to much for shipping. Not many places would have bothered and I would have never know the difference, matter of fact I did not care other than it impressed me.

I bought a snap in trim piece also but only used it as a guide to very carefully cut the dash piece out. It cuts really easy with a dremel tool.

I've heard that the daystar panel and a 6sp doens't work too well.

I'm going to try to make my own panels that can mount above the mirror or on the upper dash panel. The first case was a trailer break light box. $20 from a trucking company. IF I can make a nice cut to match the curve of the dash panel, it will go there. It's thick enough that I might even be able to get 2 rows of switches there... not sure yet (will have to wait for my switches to arrive) All it needs is to be cut and painted black.

Otherwise I picked up these cases from Polycase. I figure each of these can have 5-7 switches in them. One will go on the upper dash and the other above the mirror. Not as clean as either of the ones mentioned above, but the cases were $35 for both.

My current & long term plans include some of the following (however I keep changing my mind, & thinking of other things I can do with the space):

1. Driving Spots
2. Driving Lights
3. Amber Driving Lights
4. ESP Kill Switch
5. Fan Kill Switch
6. Rock Lights
7. Area Lights (sides)
8. Rear Lights
9. Red Interior Lighting (easier for maps without ruining night vision)
10. Windowframe lights
11. Front Heated Seats - drivers hot
12. Front Heated Seats - drivers medium
13. Front Heated Seats - pass hot
14. Front Heated Seats - pass medium
