Drop the plastic panel under the steering column, it just snaps out. You will see the amp for the rear sub, just turn the volume down and your good to go.

I wouldn't even bother - the sub in the stock infinity system is crap anyway and barely puts out any sound.
BTW, the AMP drives all the speakers... not just the sub. so you don't want to cut the amp power.

If you upgrade the Amp &/or head unit, then you might consider a disconnect for the sub. Your other (and easier) is to dial the bass down when the dogs are in the Jeep.

Your easiest solution is to put a toggle switch at the speaker wire connections at the sub. There are 4 wires, that plug into the back of the sub enclosure which are the 2 outputs from the Infinity amp. (ie 2 outputs=4 wires) You would want to buy a "DPDT" toggle switch and then run both of the POSITIVE wires to the toggle switch. Essentially, you are removing power from the 2 output channels by disconnecting those output channels from the sub.

If you want the switch up front, then the Infinity amp is located under the steering column. You would need to figure out the 4 wires that run from the amp to the rear sub. Once you do that, then you would do the same as I mentioned above.
