Default I want to upgrade factory to Mygig..

Hey all! I just bought a new 2011 Wrangler and it came with the basic head unit with no sub, but has Satellite and Uconnect working with it and the steering wheel controls.

I want to upgrade to the non nav version of the mygig but im not sure which model/version i should be looking to buy...any chance someone can point me in the right direction so i can start looking for the right one that will be plug and play and still retain the Satellite and Uconnect functions along with steering wheel controls?

Also, once i get the mygig will i be able to attach a 5 channel amp to it to power all the speakers and add a sub?

You will be looking for the RBZ radio with Hi speed CAN. Yes you will also be able to install an amp to your system.

Excellent! A quick look on Ebay shows them going for only $460 or so, which isnt bad at all imo.
