I just bought my first Jeep(my wife has had 3) and I opted not to have the Infinity sound system. I thought I could build one myself for cheaper, and am well on the way. My question is where can I find an original or aftermarket subwoofer enclosure like the one that comes with the Inifinity system. I really like the way they keep the back end cleaned up. I would prefer an oem part but cannot seem to find one. Any help?

 

Check the for sale or freebie area and see if anyone is selling one. I know some people who have removed them and sold them.

Yeah, mine's all scratched up & gouged & was looking for a replacement myself so would be very interested in how you go with your search... I'm guessing OEM from a dealer would cost a fortune.

 

There are 4 of them on EBAY right now going for between $70 and $100.

The ones on ebay are for 2010 or older. I'm not sure if there are any 2011's out there yet. Keep an eye out for me please and thank you!

 

Have a look at these guys (jeepcarparts1.com); seem to have pretty every part and component for the Jeeps of all models including sound system components & sub-assemblies for the JK Wrangler. Type in "speaker" into their search bar & you get diagrams of the whole system, then you click tab 7 for the subwoofer.
