Inspired Engineering Wiring Ques
Hey all. So am trying to install these lights. Got the six led cubes. Pretty straightforward. However, now I feel like an idiot because I can't get them to work. Harness consists of inline fuse, relay, and switch with integrated quick connect plug. I hooked up power to positive side of battery and ground to neg side of battery. I test lighted my way through the harness to see where I have no power. I have power from positive (red) wire to and out of inline fuse to relay. That's where it stops. Can't get test light bulb to come on from the actual power wires coming out of the relay to the lights. Am missing something here. Ground the actual relay box? Or ground the light harness to something other than the battery? I am a retard in this so feel free to be hard on me as necessary. Thanks.

I have some IE cubes too. You don't need to ground the relay box. Also putting the ground wire on negative side of the battery is fine. My only thought is maybe you got a bad relay. Test the relay by itself if you have a 12v power supply. It will either click or it won't.
