So i made an appointment with a car audio shop for tomorrow.
they will be installing
4 infinity reference 6032 6.5 speakers (2 in the sound bar and 2 in the dash)
they will also install 1031 tweeters in place of the factory tweeters.
they will leave the infinity amp and head unit as is.
they say it will make a major improvement
all costing 400 installed with tax.

any thoughts?

The speakers sound awesome! I think you will love them. The price looks steep to me. I have not had someone install speakers in my rigs for some time. Really not that hard if your willing to take the challenge. I would save the 400 and do it yourself. This forum has great advice and pointers.

I'm from canada cheapest I fount where 99 a pair plus 80 for tweeters
So the guy is charging me 80 to install

 

Ha, I guess I read that wrong. Not too bad of a price then. When paying someone to do a job you can accomplish, it's all about what your time is worth. My time is cheep so I did my own. Ha

I'm not sure what delivery is to Canada from amazon but those speakers run about 50.
