I love it, however I haven't been camping yet, so I haven't had a chance to use it much.

 

This is exactly what I did and it worked fantastic. Bought the unit from Sam's for about 79....then bought the pin cable from Fry's Electronics for about 3.99. Then wired it all up.....works perfect.

I am a very big music buff....produced a couple of albums over the years. Having the ability to watch music concerts DVD live is great! I will use this more for live music DVDs then movies. But I did add an extra RCA video output for additional monitors. Very easy to add monitors.....

I used some marine industrial Velcro for the corners of the monitor and day-star dash unit. Holds it very well and also very easy to remove and put under seat or out of the sun. Just so simple and sweet.

Thank very much to the person who found those video outputs on my stereo....that is what made this work for various options other than just a back up camera!!!!!!
