Default Inverter mount

Already saw the thread about mounting am inverter in the center console. Looked into doing it and decided it was very clean but wayyyy more work than I wanted to do. I have this...

...and was thinking about mounting it either under a seat or on the rear wheel well.

Any suggestions or words of warning? I'm not thinking that an inverter would like extension cords very much.

I have an inverter I was going to use in my XJ, but never got it installed. Its been sold and this thing is sitting here. might put it to use after all.

I know that wiring it into the 12 V JK system will require heavy gauge wires, fuses, and relays. I just wonder where the best place to mount it would be. Also wondering if I should run a switch to a relay so I can manually power it on and off.

I know many guys here have bought the amp/sub install kits from AAP or Radio Shack when installing their inverters.
