IPF 968 upside down?
i searched… might be a stupid question…
Just put on a XRC bumper obviously no fog lights now
Im going to get a pair of the IPF 968's and run them off the stock fog switch… Amperage draw seems to be comparable so it shouldn't really be an issue as long as i leave the 55w bulbs in there and not the 100's
They are classified as driving lights and the bumper has the option to mount above the bull bar or directly on to the upper part of the bumper and that would keep the lights "right side up" for lack of better words.
The question is if i wanted to run them UNDER the bull bar which would now position them upside down is that going to effect the light distribution since I'm sure the reflectors inside are tuned with the light in the upright correct position to spread the light evenly and correctly?

the answer is yes l the light patern would be upsidedown!! a spot light would not be affected!! ?? can you remove and rotate the lens /reflictor assmbley. in the housing??
picsof the lights would help I looked in catalogs. no good pic's

I believe they are a sealed assembly but I'm not 100 percent certain. Im thinking they are just going to get mounted to the top part of the bumper and the tabs on the bull bar will be there for other lights if necessary...
from the pic 's I 've seen, it looks like two scrues on the right and left
if you remove these the lens reflector assembley may be saparated from the backing
this will let you change the bulb. and reinstall the lens reflector 180 dg
