Default IPF Headlights...white or blue?

Well, I just came within about an inch of nailing a deer going 70mph because of the shitty headlights so I'm definately ordering the IPF upgrades from northridge asap. What do you guys think, should I get the white or blue bulbs?

I have never changed them so I have no basis for comparison. I preordered them and they came with the "blue" bulbs only. Part of the bulb reflector is blue. Not the housing reflector, only a part of the bulb. You can only see blue when the lights are off. The light output is very white. From the drivers seat there is no blue.

there is def a slight blue in the blue ipf's. but if i were to do it all over again, i would just spend a little more for an HID kit. especially if i had deers near where i live.

Id go with blue. Even if it was only a tiny bit blue, it would make me feel good knowing its there

I haven't gotten mine yet (due here on Monday) but for whatever it's worth I went with white.

if you care about performance, and it seems that's the reason why you're upgrading, then get the white bulb. blue bulb has lower lumens and is for ricers.

Thanks for the post, i was worried it would be ricer blue, but it sounds like it a good HID blue color. I'm think i'm gonna go ahead and get the blue ones...too bad it looks like i'm gonna be stuck out on this rig for another 2 weeks so I won't get to throw them on until then.

They are ricer blue when turned off. That is, when looking at your Jeep head on in the daytime, you can clearly see the blue reflected in the headlamp. When in use, any blue is pretty minor from up close. My experience is that the further away from a vehicle, the more blue ricer bulbs look. Doppler shift I guess.
