Post Isolate air resurculate switch

Would LOVE to re wire/isolate the air resurculate switch so it can be turned on and off in ANY of the air flow combinations ESPECIALLY DEFROST.

THIS IS A OFF ROAD VEHICLE DRIVEN ON DUSTY DIRTY TRAILS, I like to use my defrost with out sucking in dirty outside air!! You think the engineers at Jeep would have thought of this??

IF ANY ONE HAS ACCESS TO JK ELECTRICAL SCHEMATICS PLEASE E MAIL THEM TO ME AND I WILL GET ON IT ASAP!!!!!!

I dont have schematic access, but i would be willing to bet your wiring would turn in to reprogramming as this is likely controlled inside the computer.

I cant get into the things from here, but if it is possible to do, I think it is a great idea.

Eh, just rip your glove box off and stick a pencil in the air box. That'll keep it on recirculate.

I may be wrong about this, but part of defrosting is removing humidity out of the air. It would be difficult to do that if the air was being recirculated.

I believe you're right on. Furthermore, I've used my air off-road, and didn't notice any dirt blowing around inside my Jeep... but then again, I could see this being a potential issue if you suffer from serious allergies or whatnot (and thankfully, I don't).

In which case it might not be that tough to rig up a nice little cabin air filter.

But then again, once you take the top off, the purpose has been defeated. You do take the top off, don't you???

wouldnt it be easier for it to dehumidify the atmosphere of the cabin on recirculate...than say, the whole atmosphere of the earth if not?
