Default Jeep jku problem

I got a 2010 jeep jku it starts but has no gauges working won’t come out of park wipers stay on but if I unhook the battery for a few seconds an then restart it every thing works as should an drives fine but have to do that every time befor I start it any help would be appreciated thanks

Look at all the posts about the TIPM. This has very similar issues.

Could also be a ground issue. I know once I put the third pedal to rest my foot and undid the grounds by the footwell and the wipers came on until I hooked the grounds back up. And that was with no key on.

Ok thanks I pulled the timp an clean all the wire ends an connector didn’t help any does anyone no if there’s away to test them timp before just buying a new one

There has to be a code for this! Try the codes before you start throwing money at it.

There is no lights on an if you hook a obdll scanner up it throws no codes I’m trying not to just throw money at it

I didn't have any codes either. Look at MAK's site for info about the TIPM. I also called and spoke with them about the problem. The thread that I used was "Jeep will start but guages blank, stuck in park, wipers won't turn off??". My problem ended up being the cluster itself. I could disconnect the battery and it would work fine for awhile until finally it just quit altogether. I was sure it was a ground or loose connection somewhere for a long time.

Ok thanks I’ll look into it kinda weird how the cluster could make it not come out of park

I agree about the cluster and it is a symptom of the TIPM.

Thanks for the advice it did finally throw a code I for get exactly what it was but was something like battery voltage to high
