Default Jeep won't start!!!!!!

So, wake up this morning to go to work, try and start the Jeep and click....nothing. At first I was hearing some kinda strange buzzing from the fuse box area and front passenger side door area. Tried to jump it and nothing. All lights are bright and stereo works. It's an 08 manual with about 60k or so. Seen a few post on here about possible battery/starter issues. Going to attempt to disconnect the negative cable from the battery and let it sit for a few minutes (one suggestion from earlier posts) and see if that works. If not guess I'll be calling the dealer for a tow. FML....

Try that first to reset, if that doesn't work: check the ground that runs directly to the hood. Mine would lay on the positive terminal and the jeep would not start and do Wierd things like that. I fixed mine by wrapping with electrical tape and the problem was solved. You may not have this issue as I think they moved the ground over in newer models to avoid this issue (I have an 07). Hope this helps! Good luck!

Removed battery for about 10 minutes or so and then re-connected. Did not help at all, hood was open so no way the ground strap on the hood was touching anything. Noticed that the key will not lock/unlock Jeep when pushing button however, I can lock/unlock by pressing switch on door. Anyone ever hear of this before??? Also, moved it last night and it started up just fine. No issues....nothing. Just overnight evil gremlins must have sabotaged my Jeep.....

Might be the neutral safety switch... If you can get it in 4lo, stick it in neutral try start it without depressing the clutch.....

Nothing has gotten wet. To be honest I'm betting it's not even the starter or battery, probably something with the computer or whatever. Hopefully nothing to expensive....wife's already talking about making me get rid of it. Just replaced the fuel pump a few months ago at around 50k, now this at around 60k....what's next?

does or did ur instrument cluster say 'no bus'? mine did. no lights or anything would come on, not even the overhead light. i pushed in and held in the trip button on the instrument cluster for about 10 seconds and the instrument panel gauges went ape sh** (computer reset). once it stopped my overhead light finally worked. i tried 2 get a jump but no dice. disconnected the battery completely and nothing. got a new battery and poof!! started right up. not really sure his does you any good since ur at the dealership already. im very curious what the stealership has 2 say about it.

Dealership said they may get to it today but for sure tomorrow. Also, after trying to start and only getting a click...nothing else, my dash display does go a bit ape$h!t flickering and what not. I have a video with the noise the fuse box relays make. Just gotta figure out hoe to post it up in here for everyone.
