jk amplifier
Kicker makes one for 07-10 jeeps. I don't know what changed from 11-13.
Alpine makes the pdx-5 and pdx-v9 that are 5 channel and fit in the stock location but are not plug and play. I have also been looking into another 5 channel amp by RealAudio that is suppose to fit in the stock location.

That's what I thought. My gf has an altima, which has bose of course, and it JAMMSSS! My thought is to make connectors and swap the bose amp for the factory amp. Its a good bit bigger tho. My only issues are this. If the can bus system affects the factory amp, this should mess with the input and output of the bose amp. Im sure this isn't the case or the factory amp wouldn't work correctly. I dunno. Also, should be the same amount of speakers (think) and it should work perfect. The only problem at this point is the factory infinity sub has zero power. Any ideas?
Factory Amps are Preprogramed for each model that are to be installed in,
Example: Wrangler and Nitro use same Amp.
Wrangler Soundbar speakers aren't as loud as the Dash speakers while they are the exact same speakers.
Use a Amp with Nitro Mopar p/n and those soundbar speakers have more power.

Yeah, the wranglers amp is programed to output less to the speakers in the soundbar. Chrysler does this to many of their amps. example, a amp can have a spec of say 500 watts, installed/programed for chrysler sebring, it has only 400watts with 6 channels. but in the dodge challenger, it outputs 500 watts with 9 channels....
