Default JK hesitation

Hello all, this is my first post, so I’m not sure if im in the right forum or not. I have a 2018 JK, it hesitates and stalls sometimes for just a second. But it only happens when my fuel is around the half mark or less. It doesn’t throw any codes or anything, and just does it for a second. I’m wondering if maybe my fuel pump is sucking air somehow when my fuel tank is lower level. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

Does it happen when u r cruising on flat terrain or when u go up or down hill? If so the tank level moves a lot when up or down hill maybe sucking a little air.

It happens on flat terrain while cruising. We don’t really have any big hills around here to test if it does it on a hill. But it never does it when I have a full tank of gas, only when I get around the half mark and below.

Have you tried a fuel treatment, valve and injector cleaner. Does it hesitate at mid tank. Try that with a good treatment like Royal Purple max clean or Lucas fuel treatment. Test it and see if it improves.

Yes, I have tried a few different injector treatments. No difference. It runs great and has plenty of power, it just has that sputter when the fuel reaches the half mark or lower. I was hoping I would get a check engine light or something so I could use a code reader on it. But I’m not sure if a check engine light would come on if it is actually sucking air at the fuel pump.
