KC 5"/6" 100 Watt Apollos - FYI
KC Apollo Pro Series, 100/130 Watt.
Just a heads-up to anyone looking at these lights as a less expensive alternative to the Slimlites. I "assumed" the "KC" Stone Guards would be removable, so I could either run them on or off. They are NOT removable, but a permanent part of the light.
Didn't hook them up to report on the light they give off or anything, so not a bash of the light themselves....just a FYI that the stone guards are not removable. The lights appear decently made and are all plastic (except the glass lens) so rust will never be an issue. Size wise they are pretty slim also. These are the ones listed by most suppliers for ~$116.
It looks like the other KC series lights (Apollo 55 Watt, & Slimlites) have removable guards.
