kicker speakers are amazing
I ran just the front Kicker speakers on my non-Infinity system and they were a huge improvement. Later I added the sound bar speakers and really couldn't tell the difference--just not enough audio coming out of those on mine, anyway. So, I definitely recommend the fronts. Rears--save the money.
electricbug, what alpine amp did you use,did you keep the factory unit? very difficult to do? thank.I have a new jku with the crappy alpine set up,have a been a alpine man for years but very disappointing with the setup that is supposed to be premium!
I used the MRP-F300, and mounted it under the front passenger seat. I kept the front speakers and tweeters on the factory amp. I used an interface cable from PAC Audio to give me two sets of RCA jacks to go to the amp. Easy to do and worked great for me.
Yes, basically everything works but it gives you a front and rear set of RCA jacks. So it'll depend on which one you use for which channels. You can go on PAC audio's website to find the one you need. Just look it up by vehicle. But then I would order it from amazon or eBay as you can get it about half price
Thanks for the in electric bug, some more questions,on doing research some people say you lose the ability to use bass, treble and mid with this set up,is it only the back speakers and sub or is it the whole system?,also will all the features work?u connect blutooth ect with my unit?sorry for all the ?but need to fix the poor system that jeep put out
