The led's work with the dome light, them turn on and off with the dome lights and slowly dim out with the dome light. The led's that i bought are weathrerproof and have the 3m double sided tape on them. The hardest ting to do was soldering the wire on the led strips.

I used the following lengths of leds
18" under the dash along the bottom edge (driver and passager sides)
(3) 12" under each of the front seats
(4)8" under the rear seat on each of the front supports
(2) 2' under the body just behind the running boards.
Would you mind taking a picture of exactly where you wired it in while your at it?

The dome light wire is under the plastic trim between the passenger seat and the door on the floor. The dome light wire is Yellow with a gray or white trace.

I used an automotive splice to tap into the dome light wire and added the inline fuse. I grounded the LED's under the trim piece as wel

These are the LED's under the rear seat.

Hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.
