here;s the KMA lightbar made to fit the AEV Snorkel. I had Scott custom make it 1" taller than the original version 3 bar b/c I was going to mount my lights under the bar as opposed to on top.

yes, but how much does it cost compared to their normal-run stuff.

Also, can you run without the windshield locking plates while yours are being welded to, or should I get another set somewhere first?

I love this lightbar.

Their light bars are $299 normally (depending on the modifications the price may very slightly). If you want the windshield pieces they are $99 and KMA will source them so you don't need to do anything. I have priced them out with just the bar so I can mount an LED light bar, or the Baja Designs Modular light bar and it came out to be about $400 with the winshield brackets.

Not really a whole lot to choose from for roof light bars..... I went with the Carr Rota. Very good quailty, easy to mount and made in the USA. Lights are on order.

Which lights did you go with? I like the Carr bar, but I think they qoute it can only hold 4lbs of lights which seems pretty small.

This bar is quite strong..I bet you could put 40 lb up there with no problem.

We are justing finishing up our design for the front light bar that can be added to our full length roof rack, or used as a stand alone unit.

Here is a few pictures to give you an idea:

That one is looking good. I think that I will probably end up getting the KMA one though when I do get a bar since I want to run an AEV snorkel and it is the only one to run along the inside of the windsheild frame.
