Light selection tips?
I've got a rugged ridge bar and I am thinking that a pair of driving lights and a pencil or spot beam in the middle would do nicely. I spend a lot of time on long, straight highways at night. Questions:
Can the Jeep handle a 300w load on the system without significant modification?
Can anyone recommend a particular model or manufacturer of lights?
Can someone post some links to similar write ups if possible?
Thanks!

2) KC Slimlights are the favorite on here, not too expensive and work GREAT
3)Use the "Search" in the Jk Write Up forum, theres a write up for everything and then some there.
300W is 25 Amps. The Jeep can handle that with no electrical modifications. Just don't leave the lights on with the engine not running. I know, duh. They will drain the battery just like leaving the headlights on.
Lightforce lights. They are adjustable from wide to pencil beam, made of polycarbonate, and incredibly bright. They can be found with HID or there are retrofit kits depending on how you want to do it.
For write ups search "KC" or "Slimlite" or Hella" or "PIAA" or "Lightforce" or just scroll through this section of the forum.

I'm here in St. Louis and run a set of Striker 170's. I'd be happy to meet up with you and show you how they work. They are WICKED bright and super light. I've been extremely pleased with them and plan to put a set of the 240 Blitz lights on my ARB bumper as soon as I can figure out if they'll fit or not.
