I have the clear diffusers on my 170's on the a pillar. I have the clear combos on my 240's on the bumper. The 170's really light up a wide path and the 240's with the combo lenses are still pretty much long range lights. Very high quality lights though.

Do the diffusers glare off the hood? I tried the clear wide angles on my bumpers and am going to put a pair of 170s on the pillar. Never even thought about the diffusers. I wonder how they compare to the wide angle in terms of pattern.
