I love my Lightforce lights. They dont vibrate or move at all. There is a reason tons of people run them in the Baja 1000. My buddys have run them in the Baja 1000 for the last 5 years and have had ONE break from a HUGE rock. They are one of the best lights out there. Ive run them on my 4x4s for over 10 years. They are indestructable. They give out amazing light with the combo covers.

When I open the box (Mopar Brackets) there were no Gaskets in it. Are you putting the brackets metal to metal of making your own gaskets?
Thanks Guys

The little gaskets where clear, are you sure you didnt overlook them?

If they arent there, i would just make my own out of some thin rubber (innertube or the like). I wouldnt go metal to metal, but that's just my opinion.

For the most part I'm happy with my 170's. While they do have a pretty noticeable hot spot they make up for it in flexibility. Mine are rock solid, never rotate, no bouncing beams, etc. I've had them installed since the winter of '06 without any problems. First on the stock bumper and the last six months on a Smittybilt SRC. I keep them aimed out a bit so they hit the shoulder / sides of the road way out in front (for deer) and they're hooked up to a switch under the hood that allows me to choose to have them come on with a switch by the shifter, or with the high beams.

I've got clear combo filters for them, but honestly between the Cibie e-codes and the 170's I don't ever use them. I also bought the blue filters (one spot, one combo) just to play with. Waste of money.

One thing I will say is that it's literally painful having the 170's twisted out a bit as the reflection off orange construction signs is blinding.
