Default Which Lightforce for Windshield?

140 or 170

Anyone with pics?

Are the 170s to large to windshield mount?

Dogsonparade has some 170's on his windshield and said that he doesn't get much glare off the hood. I'm putting my 170's on my bumper... if I can ever get around to doing it.

i have 6" on the windshield now ( no name brand ) and just put Lightforce 170's on my bumper....thought about moving the 170's to the windshield and getting 240's for the bumper. Thinkin' now that instead of the 240's i might go with a 6" LED strip intead ( very bright ) and move the 170's to the windshield mounts.

So the 170 s are not too big for windshield mounts? I've seen several rigs here which just have gigantic lights!

I wouldn't say they're too big. I'm not crazy about the look, but that's just me.

Default 170's are your friend

170's are all I've had. I like them. I have a few more to add. I'll take some more tonight of the glare on the hood

It's actually not as harsh as the picture may make it out to be. Cell phone photos..anyway I'm happy with them where they are... until I get my step dad to make me a cool one using Echo's idea

I've had the 170's for over a year now and I love them. They are aren't annoying at all and don't cover up very much space at all when looking out of the windshield.

I've got 170's on the windshield and honestly I don't feel like I get any glare at all.
