Default LightForce wiring harness

Ok i have a wiring harness from Lightforce. Got two questions...
1) to add an LED switch to it all I have to do is add a 12v power source to the switch? OEM switch has only 2 connectors on the back of the switch.

2) the wire that is to be spliced into the High beam wire is that the trigger for the lights? what else can I use? I would like to be able to use the light only when the power to my jeep is on ie. with the key in the on or run position? Is that posable?

thank

Johnny

You can pick up a 12volt LED (I found one @ autozone)and add it just connect the HOT+ side of the LED to the side of the switch that goes to the relay, On the wire they show to the Hi/low headlight switch you can connect it to a continuous HOT or a switched HOT most people use the wire that powers the power outlet in the dash the one on the left being switched HOT.

Default Crazy

I tried a bunch of stuff, but in the end, I just ran a wire from the third lead of the switch (for the LED) to a ground. That keeps it lit all the time and actually unlit when the lights are turned on. The battery drain is less than negligible. The red led also makes it look like some kind of alarm system when the jeep is not running!

Ok this is what i did tonight...
Wired my lights per harness, for what i did that was not in the norm of the instructions I pulled the trigger wire from the harness, so now i have just one wire going from my relay to the LED switch, then i disassembled my center dash to get at my left power outlet, so i have a switched hot wire, ran that wire to my LED switch, Ran a ground wire from my LED switch to a convent ground and that it!! my light's only turn on with the key on, NO LED light till i flip the switch!!! THANKS guys or all the help!!! I NEEDED IT!!
