Arrived. I don't have a spod but I have to guess that this is either a really good clone or perhaps the metal components come from the same factory. I build my own stuff for the jeep so I wouldn't have bought a spod anyways. But for 136 bucks, I couldn't even build the brackets, let alone buy all the switches. I will be upgrading the switch relays, and replacing the no name circuit breaker with something better before assembly. Click image for larger version

No doubt they copied the sPod. I saw another one where they even had the same logo but a different name on the source. I guess China doesn't honor U.S. patent laws.

Edit: Here it is...http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Contura-Sw...xVOKKC&vxp=mtr

Installed it this weekend. No trimming of the interior panel for the switch pod. Works good. Only thing I'm not sure of it the bright volt meter at night. It doesn't dim

Over current protection for the over current protection? Redundant and absolutely unnecessary. Why don't you trust the circuit breaker? Are you afraid the current one is manufactured in China? LOL

well.. all of them are pretty much manufactured in china. But at least one with a name brand is going to have some QC behind it.. The one that came with this kit had no markings on it other than "80amp"

I understand that. The China comment was more-or-less a joke.. My real point was the circuit breaker shouldn't even be necessary, being there are already fuses in the circuit to act as over-current protection; therefor even being a "generic" circuit breaker, it should do just fine in this application.. Sorry if my opinion was unwanted, but I deal a lot with motor control circuits and programmable logic control so I am a little educated on electrical components..
Here's a link to a name brand DC circuit breaker that I believe is comparable to the one you have, although quite honestly, I haven't read too much into what exact components came with this.
