OK I am all in. during the teardown I discover some loose connectors and a wire. I install a Pioneer stereo with backup camera. One of the previous owner had a Power stereo installed and must have removed it prior to the sale. And he left me with all this spaghetti under the seat and dash. I can clean this up.
Under the shifter is one OE loose connector and on top of the dash is one OE connector. Does someone can tell me what there are for?
And there is is one wire, looks like a COAX wire, just much smaller 1.5mm but shielded. Since I had a bad radio reception, my 2nd Question: Is the OE antenna powered, and if yes, does the wire looks like the one in the picture? Connector under the shifter (Stick shift) Connector on the dash top with the mysterious wire
OK, so the top 3 pin connector under the cover is for the compass, Power source for ignition. The coax wire, Not defined yet. But the antenna is not powered. The connector under the shifter, still not defined.
