wondering if there are any map database updates available..
chrysler STILL has not gotten their website working thats described in the owners manual

I need map updates. My neighborhood is 10 years old and it's not in the database!?!?

I maybe getting a free update of maps via a new mygig. Mine is having problems with the nav. The dealership ran some test on it and it threw some kind of error. So they are gonna replace it. Now I just have to wait for them to special order/locate one.
But still interested in an update.
I will keep yall informed if the new mygig is up to date.

couldnt you theoretically pull the hard drive out, connect it to a pC and run driveimage on your HDD and then post the ISO's? so if you get a new MyGiG with updated software and maps it could be shared in this way...

although im guessing few and far between are those that would want to disassemble the easily scratchable dash and a $1500 radio...

seems the idea of installing a 120 gig HDD might make it worth while for me to find a MyGig and install it

but not so fun if I grenade it
