Have any of you guys every used wither brand speeakers. I know nothing of either of these brands. I am thinking tehy might be "lower line" brands but dont know. I have always used Diamond Audio and Kicker.

One other thing I forgot to ask was if anyone had tried Kenwood speakers. I have read confliction info on crutchfield about them.

 

MB Quartz used to be a mid-high level player, but dropped out of favor in the late 90s early 00s. They make decent stuff that some people swear by. I've always though of them as over-priced, but each has an opinion on this. MA Audio is a newer company that came on the scene sometime in the last 10 years or so. Never messed with their stuff but from what I hear it is marginal at best.

You can usually find Boston's, (real) Infinity, Kicker, Polk and other decent speakers for the same price or sometimes less. Look at the specs, listen to them. Pick what you like the best.

 

Yea. I used to be all about audio. Now I still love a good sound but cash means alot more than it used to. I am trying to find something at a fair price. I have thought about just going on the cheap Pioneer side and hope for the best.

 

older (around 2002) Ma Audio series was very good stuff. i had a 1500 watt RMS amp and matching 10 inch sub that was the size of the JL audio monster subs(before jl produced those) that blew the back window seal out of my 02 wrx, i used to be a very big MA Audio junky, now i stick to mainly factory stuff hell, i havnt even changed out the factory headunit in this car yet and that used to be the first thing i did when i got a car.

With that said, I like Boston acustics and Infinity, to me they sound the best. i installed kicker 6.5s in my sound bar and they sound much better than the factory speakers so recently i am a kicker fan too.

go to a store and listen to them and choose what you like

EDIT: Ma audio used to be mobile authority, and that turns a lot of people off, but again listen to them all and decide for yourself.

 

if you are looking for a cheaper speakers that still jams, check out auditor. There front components go for $199 and sound pretty awesome. better than most jl speakers I have heard.

You might want to do a little research on them though because I'm pretty sure they are about to swap out the tweeter and when they do I have high hoped that the set will sound just straight up amazing for the price.
