Default MBRP WINDSHIELD LIGHT BAR-Which 5 lights to buy?

Hey I'm gonna buy an MBRP roof light bar tomorrow and I just need to figure out what slimlites (all the way baby) are gonna go up there. I was thinking Fog-driving-driving-driving-fog. Or fog-driving-long range-driving-fog. Or all driving. What does everyone think? would it be stupid to have any foglights up there anyway?

If it was me I'd do all driving lights. Can't say for sure, but I think fogs would spray light down all over your hood from above the windshield. Driving lights would let you take advantage of the height of the light bar.

I have two 130 watt slimlite long ranges at the base windshield mount...do you think it would be overkill to put more on the bar? Also where would they go...the sides?

Depends on the brand of light and your driving style. I used to run four Hella Rallye 4000's on a light bar on an '86 fullsize Blazer that I drove hard and very fast. I put two "european beam" lights (mixed spread pattern) on the outsides and two driving lights (long-range spot pattern) in the middle. The total coverage was amazing and worked very well. The spots covered high-speed travel down the road and the mixed spread (which I angled slightly outbound on the bar) did a great job of lighting up any turns.

I'm going to run 4-5 Lightforce 170's on my JK (probably 2 spots and 2 or three with the "combo" lenses.) I don't drive the JK fast offroad like I used to drive my Blazer, so I'm not as concerned about long-range coverage. Though if I ever get the coin to go with a full EVO setup and a hemi, my driving habits could definitely change.

You could let the need for light also determine where to mount the lights. I'm not thinking fog lights above eye level would be a help in seeing the road. If you re going for looks, just get cool looking lights. Fogs down low. Seeing distance up high.
