Ok, slight problem.

Ok, I bought new WCM with remote start. Had stealer program non RKE keys to the new one. Got my new remote key today. I cut it and programed it today. I can use it as a normal key, but no remote start or door locks. Any one know what up? When he programed it he said it would only show unset instead of set.

I know the jeep was manual windows and locks before swap. The doors lock with door switch, but I do not have the Alarm of the normal keyless JK's. All lock set up is mopar. All window set up is Mopar. I have made a switch for the hood and still no start.

make sure when the dealer programs you up that they add the sales code for the factory power convenience package to your jeep in the starscan...

there are 2 sales codes that must be present before remote start can be programmed succesfully. one is for automatic and the other is for the power package..

it sounds like the power package wasnt added since the RKE doesnt work either...

if you get a single horn beep when you press the remote start button twice, that is a fault in the remote start indicating either the hood switch, a door open, etc...

the new WCM communicates to the PCM when remote start is rtequested, the PCM to allow remote start must be able to lock the doors (or at least get confirmation returned that the power locks are functional)...

the dealer may be able to completely re-flash your jeep with the correct program that has the sales code for power package in it..
