I went to my local dealer to confirm a mygig part number that I was thinking about bidding on eBay. To my surprise, the new rbz+rsc part # 5064678ah can be bought new for 710 with one year warranty. For this price I would need to trade in my stock non mygig. It would seem worthwhile to spend 300 more on a new system that risk one of eBay. Any thoughts?

 

I thought the RBZ+RSC unit did not include navigation, it's just the touch-screen radio/CD/DVD player (and the RSC indicates it's got satellite)?

 

The rsc indicates satellite radio, I believe.

 

I am not looking for the navigation unit. Most of the non navigation mygigs with satellite are selling for 400 and above (used)

 

The dealer also said that this unit is camera ready. Does this mean I could hook a rearview camera without the use of lockpick?

 

So $710 and your old radio? I have a rbz rsc coming from eBay, I am going to try it out, but I now want Nav. I will sell you mine for 1/2 of new and you can keep your old radio. I want to verify it works before I resell it. Google rbz mygig and download manual to see all features.

yup... BUT you are gonna need a way to plug it in AND a dealer flash. It is not a big deal, but you will either need an a/v plug from coastal or similar company or make your own. Pinout is at mofv.com you want the C3 plug. Nothing to it.
