Default MyGig / Electrical problems after Optima Yellow top install

Replaced factory battery with Optima Yellowtop and now having MyGig issues.

I have searched through the many threads on MyGig problems and none seem to help my issue.

Since battery install, the following occurs:

MyGig turns on and off nonstop the ENTIRE time I drive. Whether it be a 5 minute drive or an hour drive. No fun.

I have pulled fuses, pulled negative battery cable again with no fix. Many of the suggestions in the threads I found are for when specific aspects of MyGig isnt working. Since mine only stays on for maybe 10 seconds at the longest points I don't have time to try the tips. Also, none of the buttons, hard or soft, seem to do anything.

I also have a check engine light on with no codes.

Help! FYI... MyGig came in the Jeep from the factory and I have not modified it in any way with a Lockpik, etc...

Default MyGig / Optima Yellow top problem.

My MyGig blanks out after engine start up. I have to disconnect the Neg side of the batt and restart to get it to come back.

does the battery match the required fitment for the jeep or did you grab one from the local auto parts store? the guy at pep boys said that they do not usually carry ones that fit our JK. But that is only in my area, so I do not know.

Have you updated the MYGIG software? This was a common issue with the older software.
