I ended up going with the JVC since it was the only unit with a detachable face which is nice in a Jeep, especially in the summer. The aftermarket audio quality blows away the MyGig, but the plug-and-Play ability of the MyGig is nice if you hate wiring.

I want topo maps in the dash!!!!
You can add topo maps yourself. None of them come with. I've got City Navigator North America 2010, Topo US 2008, Washington Trails, and Washington 24k Topo all loaded in mine. All Garmin devices basically function the same… Load all your maps onto a PC and build a custom mapset using MapSource, then download it directly to the unit or store it on an SD card and plug that into the unit.

Topo in dash is really the big plus with going to a Garmin unit in a Jeep.

They dont come with topo maps loaded. The Kenwood 9140 comes with a DEM base map. it's basically a topographical view when you zoom out on the map. You can definatley load the topo maps to a sd card using mapsource. Just make sure you create a garmin directory on the card first or it will not read the maps. Also put the map view in 2d. The topo maps are not designed to be viewed in 3d.
