Just got the new iPhone today, my previous iPhone worked perfect with my MYGIG version 9.715 and as well on the previous version 9.713. Today I got the new iPhone ... pairing on Bluetooth was already a 2 hr. venture, once paired the uconnect only worked if I manually turned on and off the bluetooth on my iPhone and then only once out of 5 attempts.
Has anybody any experience with this problem ?

The 3G iphone isn't released until July 11th so what do you mean by newest iphone? I do not have the mygig system but I do have the last iphone released and it works great with the uconnect system I have in my Rubi ...maybe your latest version on your mygig is the culprit.

the old iPhone worked well. Today I got a warranty replacement which is not the G3 but the latest patch of iPhone and thats the one which is giving me the problem.
What version do you use 9.713 or 9.715 ?

Something is wrong with the phone. I have the latest firmware on my iPhone (v1.1.4) and it works fine with MyGig. Also, for the record, it took me about 25 seconds to link up my iPhone to the mygig system, wasn't hard at all, and I've done it a few times now since I've updated the mygig software.
