Default MyGIG UPDATE INSTALL

This is a write up I did on the last MyGig update. For those that missed this. Ignore the version number but the process is exactley the same.

Once you go to the thread https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...t=17722&page=6 .
Once the disk is ready here it what to expect.

When you put the disk in it will take prob a few minutes for the mygig to read it then you will get a confirmation screen showing you your current version and wanting to update to Version 9.561 My version before update was 9.045.
Tap yes.
Then you will see this screen

Once that is completed

The system will restart and then you will see this screen

The system will reset one last time then you will go in to
MENU
System Setup
System information
This is where you can verify the update

Some new features i noticed is random and rpt track

A true scan feature for Siruis

takes about 15minutes for the update process. I will not fill the hard drive. it overwrites the files with updated ones. I update when a new one comes out
