Navigation Volume 2012 JK with 430
Whenever I use my NAV, it defaults to a volume level of 17. I can adjust it down which will work as long as the jeep is on, but once I stop and have the vehicle off for a period (even a few minutes), the next time I use the NAV it defaults black to a blaring 17.
Software is up to date on the system. I can't find any setting to save the navigation volume default. Am I missing something obvious here?

Bump. Can anybody else with 2012 and the 430n verify that this happens to them as well? Want to see if it is by design or a flaw in my system. I can change the volume on the fly, but always defaults back to 17.
I have a 2013 with the 430N and I have the same issue. However, mine is more annoying with the phone ready/call ending messages than with the nav.
People three cars away know whenever I get a phone call, then the phone call level is set too low during the phone conversation. If I'm not at the ready when the phone call is complete I am literally blasted with the phone call ending message.
I mentioned this when I was surveyed at having purchased my new vehicle. They had someone place a follow-up call to me to sort it out but they could not find anywhere to permanently adjust the level.
I have also taken it to the dealer for this specific issue and they stated they have no ability to adjust the level either.

I have a 2012 and the issue I have is blue tooth volume is low. I have it adjusted up to 30 just so I can hear the other person. If I'm driving its pointless cause they can't hear me and I can't hear them.
So my issue is a little different than yours. And it stays at that setting however ever couple of weeks my radio turns itself off. Basically resets itself. I start it and the power is off. I turn it on and it's tuned to AM station that I don't listen to. At least it doesn't lose my settings, but it does adjust all my volume settings down to 0.
