Loose connections in the fuse box? Loose connection at the stalk? Damaged wires? I'd look up the wiring instructions that come with the aftermarket harnesses and trace the path to troubleshoot it.

Not on yours specifically, but you can get aftermarket wiring harnesses that have install instructions. If you look over those instructions you might get some more troubleshooting ideas.

If no power at the device. Then the next stop will be the TIPM modual. That is probably going to be a real pain with not much to look at. You could check the wiring where it leaves this modual. But I suspect that you will get the same results. The modual switches the current via the CanBuss. Most likely a 5 volt signal. But who knows where to check. Problem could be in the TIPM or the switch. Since both problems are confined to the stalk switch, could be there. Maybe take the wheel apart and check the connection. Just be careful of the clockspring.
