Not sure if you've purchased your amp yet, but the JL Audio JX series (JX360/2, JX500/1, JX1000/1D etc) with a 7.68 D and 2.09 H, fit perfect in the rear storage area.... I used the Rugged Ridge rear storage bin (pic below) and mounted my amp inside it - made the wiring real clean and gave me an added sense of protection.... Have had no overheat issues and have run it constant for hours on days above 80 degrees.

I'll try and take a pic of my setup but its freezing out and I hate trying to move my Sub box.

If you're asking about mine... not a drop

I have had some water in the rear wells behind my front passenger seat - which is why I eliminated under the seat as an option and went with the rear area....

I think it also helps that I have my downfiring sub box back there - I cant see how I could get water back there.

Inside the rear storage area, as mentioned earlier. That is where mine is installed.

No worries bro, mine fits in there like a glove. No problems with moisture whatsoever. Works quite well, and I still have enough room for my recovery straps and other small roadside items to fit in there beside it.

Why not put it inside the dash under the steering wheel where the stock infinity is?
